What is the Talladega GreenPower National Championship?
The Greenpower National Championship is the highest level of competition in the Greenpower Education Trust program, bringing together top student teams from across the country to compete in electric car racing. It represents the culmination of a full season of design, testing, and racing, where teams apply real-world engineering, strategy, and teamwork in a highly competitive environment.
We’re heading to the National Championship at Talladega Superspeedway.
This year’s event will bring together 104 F24 teams from across the country, creating one of the most competitive fields we’ve seen all season. Every team competing has earned its spot, which means the level of performance, strategy, and consistency will be higher than ever.
At Nationals, small details matter. Efficiency, reliability, and strong teamwork can make the difference over the course of a race, and we’ve been working throughout the season to improve in all of those areas.

Talladega 2025-2026
Our 2025-2026 season came to an exciting close at the Greenpower USA National Championships, held at the iconic Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama. After months of designing, testing, and racing, our team competed against some of the best Greenpower teams from across the country in the F24 Advanced division.
The weekend didn't start as planned when an electrical failure at the beginning of Heat 1 forced us out of the race. Instead of giving up, our team quickly diagnosed the problem, made the necessary repairs, and returned ready to compete. In the second heat, we battled our way to a 6th-place finish—just two positions shy of the podium. Achieving this result in only our second year as a program is something our entire team is incredibly proud of.
Talladega was about much more than racing. Throughout the event, we connected with teams from across the country, exchanged ideas, and learned new approaches to vehicle design and performance. Those conversations, combined with the data we collected on track, gave us fresh ideas for improving airflow, reducing drag, and making our car even more competitive.
As we look ahead to next season, the lessons learned at Talladega will play a major role in our development. Every race has helped us grow as engineers, drivers, and teammates, and we are excited to build on this year's success as we continue working toward our goal of standing on the podium at future Greenpower National Championships.
